apple [pro]tini bars

super high protein and amazingly tasty snack bars to bring on the go!

the ingredients

the dry

1 cup oat flour

1 cup vanilla protein powder (I love my customized Gainful blend!)

½ cup coconut flour

1 tbs cinnamon

the wet

½ cup unsweetened apple sauce

¼ cup runny almond butter

1 tbs lemon juice

the extra love

lemon zest

¼ cup coconut flakes

¼ cup finely diced apple

the process

  • mix all dry ingredients in medium bowl.
  • add wet ingredients in separately. mix well.
  • next, fold in the extra love ingredients. mix well.
  • spread marvelous mixture evenly across an 8x8 parchment paper-lined baking tray.
  • refrigerate for at least 1 hour (up to 4 days).
