5 tips to creating a bedtime routine

and why it's so important to do so

So...everyone on Instagram seems to be obsessed with sharing "morning routines" - which are absolutely great, don't get me wrong....But, evening routines are just as (if not more!) important. The physical & mental restoration that takes place during sleep is vital.

 

1️⃣ PHYSICAL RESTORATION 🕺

Our body is essentially resetting itself in preparation for the next day; the physical body must ensure all muscles, cells, and organs are functioning a-ok at equilibrium.

2️⃣ MENTAL RESTORATION 🧠

The brain must consolidate all the memories & emotions we experienced that day - then file them away into different compartments of our noggins.
